A Day In The Life Of 'THE HILLS' Lauren Conrad!

12 - 1 P.M.
OFF TO LUNCH
Lauren "LC" Conrad, 20, and roomie Heidi Montag, also 20, sit down to lunch at Mauro's Café at Fred Segal. On the menu? Spaghetti, chopped Caesar salad and girl talk. Conrad, who's been going out "most nights" (her fave club: Les Deux) since ending her tumultuous romance with Jason Wahler and a brief fling with Brody Jenner, says of her ex Wahler, "I've tried several times to be like 'let's just be cool and be friends'... But then I'll see him somewhere and he'll just be rude to me."

SHOPPING ON MELROSE
At Ron Herman, Conrad pulls several dresses to try on for her appearance later on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the new season of The Hills – back Jan. 15. "It's whatever catches my eye," says Conrad of her shopping strategy.

1:22 P.M.
A GOOD FIT
Conrad tries on several gowns, including a $528 Yigal Azrouel blue halter frock ("It's a great color, but don't you think it looks like a potato sack?"), but ultimately settles on a black Jill Stuart cocktail dress. "I love the frilliness of this," she says as she takes a twirl.

4:15 - 5:40 P.M.
GETTING READY
Back at her apartment, Conrad requests cat-eye makeup ("Very Brigitte Bardot") for her guest spot on the ABC late-night show. "I normally do my own hair and makeup," says Conrad, who on this day calls in help from makeup and hairstylist Christian Bier Gross. "I'm not a diva."

6:32 P.M.
THE ARRIVAL PARTY
Conrad looks poised as she and Montag arrive backstage at the Kimmel show. But moments before leaving her apartment, she tripped while walking in her Moschino peep-toe pumps – and fell flat on her face. "I'm such a loser," Conrad said, laughing hysterically. "That could have been bad."

7:40 - 8:10 P.M.
IT'S SHOWTIME!
During her interview with Kimmel, Conrad tackles questions about the new season, Kristin Cavallari ("Everywhere I go, people ask me about her... I just don't understand it"), her tattoo (she's changing the "J," which stands for Jason, to an "L") and the new season. "It was really easy," Conrad boasts after the show, before heading out with her parents to grab dinner.

Ok... LOVE the fact that she tripped! Cause that would be me - trying to act all cool and falling... Also... LOVE the weird fact that she and I have had the same exact phones in the same sequence. In fact - I predicted she had the Blackberry 8700 here! I'm just gonna go ahead and admit I'm quite jealous of L.C.'s life - ladies lunches in Beverly Hills, Shopping, and TV appearances? Not bad my friends... not bad.
Moreover - I'm LOVING 'The Hills' this season! Last year was drab but this year is fab (and scandelous at that!) - at least I get to fantasize about living in sunny California during these long winter months!
